FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY
What is “Fine Art Photography”?
Fine art photography is a style of photography created by the artist. Fine art photos are photographs created purely for their aesthetic and imaginative qualities. Fine art photographers create work that goes beyond merely capturing what is in front of the camera. Fine Art Artist use the camera as their medium for creative expression. Many Fine Art Photographers use several different photographs in a composite for their final piece of art. You see it first starts as a vision for the artist, something they have seen, felt, or imagined. Artist tend to see the world differently. What one person may see as a dead tree, an artist may see an old woman with a cane, caring for her children and grand children.
You may see some of the art as dark and some as happy, or calming. The thing is, usually, when you look at a fine art piece, you see something and/or may even feel something, this is the key to fine art. Fine art is made so the viewer will feel some type of emotion. It is more than a picture.
I create fine art from composites, it may be a person melting away like a candle. However, I also create fine art portraiture of children and families. When you work with me, you will find that I don’t always go for the smiling, cute poses. There are times during every session, I want the person inside of the smiles, the soul of the human sitting in front of my camera. Think about it this way, do your kids always smile, do You? I like to capture the true personality in my work. This way in twenty years when you pull out that photograph of Jacob, it will bring so much emotion flooding back to you, that you will feel tears welling up in your eyes. I promise you.
Everyone displays art on the walls of their home. It makes more sense to me to display art of the people in your life that really matter to you; your family. It has also been proven through research, that children who grow up with photographs of themselves displayed in their home, have less self esteem issues.
Let me create a Beautiful work of Art for your beautiful home of Your Wonderful Family.
Namaste,
Deb
